02 // DATASHEETS
From Engineering Specs to Buyer Value
I write and design every IWS datasheet. Engineering gives me the specs; I work out what they mean for the customer and put that on the page.
BEFORE / AFTER
Wireline Detection Interlock → Wireline Spool

Before · Wireline Detection Interlock

After · Wireline Spool
WHAT CHANGED
Renamed from Wireline Detection Interlock to Wireline Spool, swapped the spec list for three customer outcomes, and moved it onto the shared IWS template.
WHAT I OWNED
Rewrote the copy and redesigned the layout and graphics.
PUBLISHED DATASHEETS

IWS CONTROL
Remote valve actuation that keeps crews out of the Red Zone.

IWS LOCKOUT
Physical lockout and digital tagout, built into digitized SOPs.

MULTI-PAD EXTENSION
Control of remote pads from one central location.

WELL-CENTRIC API
Real-time, contextualized completions data delivered into engineering tools.
8 → 27 → 8
We scaled from 8 datasheets to 27 across three repositionings before the acquisition. In the current Pason refresh, I’m consolidating IWS back to 8 with a simpler message.
